About Pet Simulator X:
Almost everything from this pack looks really cheesy – And not like cheesy-but-charming, it’s cheesy “ffs why did I buy this??” Well. I bought this because I didn’t know what was in it, and I thought it would add some nice things to my adorable Sim Pets. I was wrong. The hamsters, etc are basically just really weird. Their cages are ridiculously oversized, and frankly a bit ugly. (I haven’t tested if they still work if you size them down.) I was hoping they would be even vaguely similar to the Sims 3 small pets, which admittedly is my mistake for wanting anything in Sims 4 to be like Sims 3 at all… But these are outright one of the things that Sims 4 tried to do its own take on, and fell flat on its face. Was disappointed by this DLC and it’s lack of content. The description isn’t overly specific and I couldn’t find a lot online. If I hadn’t spent several hours building a house before checking out the new content, I could jave got my money back. As it is, I’m stuck with it. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing at sale price, let alone payig full price.I only bought this due to the fact that it came in a bundle that included Cats & Dogs and Parenthood. While I don’t regret my purchase, I still do find it incredibly scummy that there’s DLC for a DLC. Then again, this IS EA we’re talking about.
